CELTIC are one of the leading teams in the world when it comes to playing out from the back, according to statistics from the CIES Football Observatory.

When it comes to the percentage of long passes from goalkeeper Joe Hart per game this season, the Scottish champions came in fourth in the list behind PSG, Hamburg and Silkeborg with 13.1 per cent.

Only PSG pair Keylor Navas (8.2%) and Gianluigi Donnarumma (8.4%), Hamburg’s Daniel Heuer Fernandes (8.7%) and Nicolai Larsen (12.8%) beat the former England number one.

Hart just pips Manchester City's Ederson, who goes long with 14.1% of his passes.

However, Scottish football collectively comes out on top for the highest percentage of long passes played out at 58.4%.

At club level in Scotland, Hart is followed by Rangers rival Allan McGregor (24.3%), Matt Macey (Hibs - 47.8), Joe Lewis (Aberdeen - 49.8), Craig Gordon (hearts 52.7), Max Stryjek (Livingston 68.5), Benjamin Siegrist (Dundee United - 69.2) Ashley Maynard-Brewer (Ross County 69.8), Zander Clark (St Johnstone - 71.3), Adam Legzdins (Dundee - 75.6), Jak Alnwick (St Mirren 76.5) and Liam Kelly (Motherwell - 76.8).
