Celtic starting team news for Hibs as Ange Postecoglou rings the changes for Parkhead clash

Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic side to face Hibs as they look to increase their lead at the top ahead of Rangers' game with Motherwell at Fir Park on Sunday.

The Hoops go into this one off the back of a Champions League defeat at home to RB Leipzig. That 2-0 victory for the Bundesliga side, coupled up with last week's win in Germany, puts them in a commanding position to reach the last 16 and in turn eliminated the Scottish champions from the tournament with two games to spare.

It was a case of what if for Celtic once again with Postecoglou's men unable to convert key chances at big moments. A common theme of their campaign at Europe's top table this season. They still have slim hopes of making the Europa League but all of that will be put to one side with the full focus on Lee Johnson's side.

The Hibees head to Parkhead in good form with four wins in the last five games - suffering a narrow loss at Dundee United last time out. They are sitting third ahead of kick-off with real feel good factor in Leith as they bid to cause a huge upset.

Celtic go into this one without key man Jota alongside David Turnbull and Stephen Welsh with the trio ruled out by Postecoglou in his pre-match press conference. They join long-term absentees Callum McGregor and Carl Starfelt on the sides.

CELTIC XI: Hart, Ralston, Carter-Vickers, Jenz, Bernabei, Mooy, O'Riely, Hatate, Forrest, Haksabanovic, Giakoumakis

Subs: Siegrist, Taylor, Kyogo, Abada, McCarthy, Ideguchi, Abildgaard, Maeda, Juranovic
