Celtic ace Yang Hyun-jun stressed he has staked his 'entire footballing career' on helping South Korea win the Asian Games.
The Hoops ace is in Japan with his nation and provided an assist in their opening game 4-1 romp against Qatar in Nagoya City.
Yang missed the weekend's Old Firm defeat and will again be absent for the league rematch on Sunday to play in the tournament.
He will receive an exemption from military duty if South Korea lift the Asian Cup for the fourth time in a row.
And he underlined how seriously he is taking the tournament, after shrugging off a pre-match delay when their team bus was driven to a baseball stadium instead of the actual venue, which caused them to be 30 minutes late on arrival.

Yang said: "I have staked my entire footballing career on these Asian Games.
"I am preparing for these games with the utmost determination.
"I am focussed on definitely winning the title and returning to South Korea in triumph.
"Within the camp, I believe we have a stronger sense of motivation than other teams in this tournament.
"But I admit we were bewildered before the game. We players didn't know what was happening on the bus either!
"It's a strong start for us."
South Korea will play Saudi Arabia in their second group match on Tuesday.
