Celtic defender Auston Trusty reckons he is now one of the USA's most experienced players, despite having only won ten caps.
The Hoops ace is on international duty in their four friendly matches against Peru, Chile, Mexico and Canada, with all of their matches at home.
USA boss Mauricio Pochettino has picked a youthful squad with six teenagers on the list, including 16-year-old superkid, Cavan Sullivan, who plays for one of Trusty's old club, Philadelphia Union.
And the 28-year-old will put aside his disappointment at Celtic losing back-to-back Old Firm defeats to Rangers to put his experience to good use for his country.
Trusty said: "It’s for the more veteran, more established players like me to lead the young guys and guys who could possibly get their first caps, to make sure they know what this team’s about.
"When you wear this crest, you’re not just representing yourself. You’re representing your teammates, your coaches, but everyone that’s ever believed in you, and an entire nation that’s behind you.

"So it really means a lot. I had lunch with Cavan Sullivan and he has impressed me.
"You see him off the pitch, see how he approaches a game, how he starts a game, how he approaches his transactions with teammates and coaches and the game itself with his own play.
"But during it, if someone’s going to do stepovers, someone’s scoring goals and they’re celebrating, or if they show confidence on the pitch, that is exactly what you want to see.
"I don’t want an attacker, or any player, on the pitch that’s not confident.
"So if someone’s feeling good about themselves and is confident in their ability and backs themselves, all power to him."
