Celtic star returns for Motherwell match as Fir Park appearance beckons

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed Tom Rogic will be available to take on Motherwell this weekend.

The attacking midfielder has been on international duty with Australia and missed Wednesday's dominant 3-0 derby win over Rangers, which sent the Hoops top of the Premiership.

He's back in Scotland following his Aussie service and the Celtic boss has confirmed he could be involved in Lanarkshire this weekend.

Motherwell are no strangers to what Rogic can do, with the 29-year-old notching five goals and five assists versus the Steelmen, including the winner in December's 1-0 Celtic win against his weekend hosts.

Rogic has only notched more goal contributions against Aberdeen, who he's assisted a goal against six times.

Postecoglou said: "We don't do breaks during the year.

"He'll get a break at the end of the year like everyone else. He's back and he's ready to play."
