Paulo Bernardo has admitted Celtic may not have been at their best in Sunday's Scottish League Cup final, but stressed his delight in lifting another piece of silverware in green and white.
Speaking at a Celtic FC Foundation charity event, the Portuguese midfielder reflected on a "tough game" at the national stadium, that saw the Glasgow rivals tied 3-3 after extra-time, before Brendan Rodgers' side edged it on penalties.
Bernardo himself played 71 minutes on the day, before making way for Arne Engels in the centre of the pitch.
Engels was among Celtic's five goal-scorers from the spot, during a thrilling encounter that Bernardo stressed was a team effort from back to front.
He said: "It was a really tough game. We had more ball and we had more shots on target. I think it was very good to watch.
"We know that we can play a little bit better football and we will try to do it in the next game but it was a final."

Bernardo added: "In Portugal we have a quote that says that you don’t play a final, you win it. So, we did it and we are very happy.
"It was the first of the season, we want more but we are focused on the next game. We won the trophy two days ago, so it gives us a lot of confidence for the next month."
