Matt O'Riley has serious transfer interest from England and the Bundesliga - but is HAPPY at Celtic, according to a report.
Ange Postecoglou moved to snap up the midfielder last January from MK Dons and he has went on to really develop his game at Parkhead in the past 15 months or so. He had a spell out of the team due to the form of trio Aaron Mooy, Reo Hatate and Callum McGregor but he's returned with a bang in the past few weeks.
He put in a solid display against Rangers in a thrilling Old Firm derby at Parkhead and followed that up with a star of the show display against Kilmarnock, firing two goals. He's picked up vital experience in the Champions League with outings in every single group game including two matches with Real Madrid with his tally standing at four goals and 12 assists in 44 outings so far this season.

The midfielder will be well in contention for the huge Scottish Cup semi-final showdown with Rangers at Hampden at the end of the month. A victory in that one and the Hoops will be heavy favourites to go on and complete a domestic Treble with a 12 point cushion in the Premiership and one of lower league Falkirk or Inverness the potential opposition in the season finale.
His form has attracted interest from south of the border and Europe according to transfer guru Fabrizo Romano who provided an update on the 22-year-old - who is tied down long-term to the Hoops.
He wrote: "Matt O’Riley, understood to be happy at Celtic even after a few Premier League and Bundesliga clubs have shown serious interest in him.The 22-year-old midfielder has 16 goals/assists for Celtic this season."
Speaking after the win over Kilmarnock, O'Riley said: “I think the wait for the first goal was probably the hardest bit mentally. I don’t want to come across as selfish as I’m not that kind of player, but when you are in my position, it would be nice to have scored at least one by that time of the season.
"When that first one came, that was like a sense of relief and I think now you’re starting to see from me it’s a bit more effortless in terms of my performances.
“It’s kind of happening now, which is nice, but, regardless, as long as I’m helping the team, that’s the main thing.”
