Kyogo Furuhashi is set to undergo more tests on his shoulder today in his fight to be ready to face Rangers at Hampden, according to a report.
The Celtic striker was forced off in the Scottish Cup win over St Mirren on Saturday with the Scottish Sun claiming the Japanese star is feeling positive after the injury settled down over the past 48 hours. He sat out training yesterday with more news to come in the next day or so as he undergoes a full scan to discover the full extent of the injury.
Kyogo picked up a similar injury against Rangers back in September but was back on the field to face Real Madrid in the Champions League just days later but a quick-fire return might not possible with his target to be ready for the League Cup Final on February 26.

The Celtic star has been in red-hot form this season and has netted 22 goals in 33 appearances to date. It is unlikely he will be risked against Aberdeen this coming weekend with all focus on getting ready to face Michael Beale and his troops in a bid to land the first piece of silverware on offer this campaign.
Both clubs discovered their Scottish Cup quarter-final opponents yesterday with the duo kept apart in the draw. The Light Blues, current holders of the famous old trophy, will come up against Raith Rovers at Ibrox after a five-goal thriller with fellow Championship side Partick Thistle in the last 16.
Ange Postecoglou and his Scottish champions make the tricky trip to the capital to face Hearts at Tynecastle with a semi-final place and return to Hampden up for grabs.
Both clubs return to Premiership action this weekend on Saturday at 3pm. Celtic come up against Aberdeen while Rangers face a trip to the Tony Macaroni Arena to face Livingston.
