Celtic star Jota has reportedly "agreed terms" on a megabucks move to Saudi Arabia that will see him link up with Karim Benzema, reports the Daily Record.
The cash rich Saudi Pro League has been making some major moves with Cristiano Ronaldo kicking off an exodus from Europe when he joined Al Nassr in January.
Since then Benzema, N'Golo Kante, Ruben Neves, Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy have followed suit and it's expected that will just be the tip of the iceberg with countless more to follow.
According to Alkass Channel, who have 1.4 million Twitter followers and are verified as a business, Al-Ittihad have agreed on personal terms with Jota.
They say "all terms and details of the contract" have been agreed with the player although a few "minor details" between the two teams remain to be hammered out.
There is no mention of the fee Celtic will bank at this stage but they triggered a £6.5m option to buy Jota from Benfica last summer. He still has four years still to run on his deal so they will demand a substantial hike on that to let him go now.
