Celtic star Jacynta Galabadaarachchi has hit out at Sky Sports after revealing she is dating Carl Starfelt.
The Hoops star has been left annoyed after the broadcaster told viewers of her relationship on air during the Old Firm clash with Rangers live on TV. Ange Postecoglou's first choice defender was in the stands with the camera panning towards him before Ian Crocker told viewers that he was in a relationship with the playmaker.
The 21-year-old has told the TV station to focus on the football rather than her personal life. She has told how she is a 'very private' person and would rather people watched or went along to games to offer their support of the women's game - not her life outside of football. The youngster has been nominated for both the PFA Young Player of the Year and Women's Player of the Year awards after votes from her fellow players for the two big prizes. he is joined by Celtic team-mates Caitlin Hayes and Amy Gallacher for the POTY gong alongside Brogan Hay of Rangers.

The Young Player category is also dominated by the Old Firm clubs with Emma Watson and Kirsty MacLean joining Shen Menglu and Galabadaarachchi as the four nominees.
Jacynta said: “I think that the TV stations need to focus on the football and not my personal life. I don’t think my personal life is anything to do with the game and it did not need to be mentioned.
"It shouldn’t be everyone’s concern what I am doing in my personal life. I want people to come along and help promote the women’s game rather than worrying about what I am doing away from the pitch.
"It is my private life. If you ask anyone who knows me, I am a very private person. I would love people to come to the games to offer their support but not to pry into things that are of my own concern. In the city every now and then people do come up to me.
“I like it when young girls come up to me and say that they enjoy watching us and that they come to the games.
"It is good to know that we are giving young players a chance to look up to female players playing for Celtic feels good. It feels like an honour and I don’t take it lightly.”
