Daizen Maeda has credited Harry Kewell with transforming his game during his short spell coaching at the club.
The Australian worked under Ange Postecoglou at Parkhead for around a year from 2022 to 2023.
He worked closely with attacking players including Maeda.
The Japan forward arrived in Glasgow from Yokohama F. Marinos renowned for his pace and running power, but a pep talk from Kewell helped him start to use it optimally.
He has since been a leading star for Celtic, causing chaos with his pace and directness on the ball, and his pressing ability off it.

The 28-year-old has now paid tribute to Kewell for his role in helping him get to that stage.
Speaking to Pivot, Maeda said: “Harry Kewell was at Celtic. He is a legend, and he taught me many things. That had a major impact on me.
“He often asked me, ‘You have all that speed, so why don’t you attack defenders more?’ He kept telling me to play with more confidence. I think that gave me a lot of belief.”
