Celtic will shut the Parkhead standing section on the back of last week’s Old Firm fireworks.

Hoops chiefs have been fending off pressure from Glasgow City council chiefs and Police in the wake of the pyro show during the thumping win against Rangers.

Record Sport understands the corner section – which houses the controversial Green Brigade fans group – is to be closed for Sunday’s Scottish Cup clash with Raith Rovers and fans offered tickets for other parts of the ground.
