Celtic player ratings vs St Mirren as Hoops drop rare home points in four goal encounter

Celtic twice came from behind earn a share of the spoils at Parkhead.

Ange Postecoglou's side were never really at the races in this one with St Mirren deservedly picking up a point on the road. Curtis Main opened the scoring by capitalising on a horrible mistake at the back between Anthony Ralston and Tomoki Iwata before firing beyond Joe Hart - who really should have done better with the effort.

However, Kyogo Furuhashi levelled with his 31st goal of the season by firing high beyond Trevor Carson but the visitors, who impressed in the contest, once again found themselves in the lead as Main headed beyond a helpless Hart. Skipper Callum McGregor rescued a draw with a fine effort from outside the box in the final stages. Here's how we rated the champions.

READ MORE: Celtic 2 St Mirren 2 as Joe Hart poor, Curtis Main excellent - 3 things we learned

Joe Hart - 5

Will be disappointed with the opening goal. Should do much better. Got away with a second one after pushing out a cross.

Anthony Ralston - 5

Continues at right-back in absence of Alistair Johnston. Defensive mix-up with Tomoki Iwata early on to allow St Mirren goal.

Carl Starfelt - 6

Been an ever-present this campaign for Ange. Will play a key role in final run-in with CCV out injured.

Tomoki Iwata - 4

In at centre-back and looked all over the place. Much needed minutes under belt but will want to return to midfield. Mix-up with Ralston caused goal. Played role in leveller coming out from back.

Greg Taylor - 6

Full of energy on that left side. Constantly up and down supporting attacks and defending. Made position his own.

Callum McGregor - 7

Skipper started slow in this one but always looks for the ball. Will be hoping to secure another Treble in coming weeks. Excellent goal to level at 2-2.

Reo Hatate - 7

Slipped in Kyogo for leveller. A huge player and one the Hoops will be desperate to keep. Gets better each game. Subbed.

Matt O'Riley - 6

Powerful runner. Found himself back in the team after spell out. Subbed.

Jota - 6

Quiet afternoon by his standards.

Daizen Maeda - 6

Constant hard worker and has pace to burn. A solid season but has had better games. Missed a huge chance on 70 mins. Subbed.

Kyogo Furuhashi - 7

Back in after being benched at Rangers and on scoresheet. 31 for season with stunning finish.

Subs

Liel Abada - 4

Offers a different threat. Direct and full of pace. 18 minutes not enough to make presence felt on this one

Sead Haksabanovic - 4

Be desperate to force his way in. Mainly used from bench of late.

Oh Hyeon-gyu -4

Still adjusting to life at Celtic. On up top alongside Kyogo for final 20.
