Celtic edged out a dramatic 2-1 win in their latest Premiership outing against St Johnstone.
The first half was dominated by the Hoops and a similar pattern emerged in the second. In the end there was only one goal separating the sides heading into the final 10 minutes after Sead Haksabanovic's cross into the Saints penalty area was turned into the net by home defender Andy Considine.
There were offside goals too, one at the start of the second half and again when Giakoumakis thought he had the better of Remi Matthews but he was left frustrated when the flag went up. Late despair then turned to joy when as soon as Alex Mitchell levelled for the Perth club two minutes from time, Giakoumakis sparked wild scenes a minute later with a reply.
