Celtic Football Club have paid a touching tribute to the victims of the Creeslough tragedy as the Scottish club announced it would donate £10,000 to the Creeslough Community Support Fund.
Last Saturday's devastating gas explosion brought about the untimely deaths of 10 victims, including avid Celtic fan Martin McGill.
Martin originally hailed from Scotland but had moved to Donegal to care for his elderly mother.

The connection between the Glasgow football club and the county of Donegal has been long-standing and evergreen, with several football fans from the various supporter clubs travelling over from the north west to watch Celtic play in the Scottish Premiership on a weekly basis.
Celtic's statement read: “Everyone at Celtic Football Club wishes to send our most sincere condolences to the families of the 10 people who tragically died in Creeslough, Donegal on Friday and we offer our full support to the entire community, which is suffering so much at this difficult time.
“Through the club’s charitable arm, Celtic FC Foundation, £10,000 will be donated to the Creeslough Community Support Fund in the aftermath of this heart-breaking event.
“The Support Fund has been set up by the Irish Red Cross in collaboration with An Post and Applegreen to provide rapid and long-term assistance to the Creeslough community.”
It continued: “Donegal has a long and emotional connection with Celtic Football Club. The area is home to a large contingent of Celtic supporters, one of whom being Martin McGill, who tragically lost his life in the incident.
“We send our heartfelt sympathies to the families of all of the victims and the people of Creeslough.
“Our thoughts, prayers and support are with you all at this difficult time.
“You’ll Never Walk Alone.”
The Creeslough Community Support Fund was launched by the Irish Red Cross in the aftermath of Saturday's tragic incident and it has since been supported by An Post and Applegreen.
An Post are accepting donations for the Creeslough Community Support Fund at all of its 920 Post Office branches nationwide.
Donations can be made by cash or debit card and there will be no fee payable for thos who wish to make a donation.
