Celtic No1 Joe Hart's fires cheeky one-liner at Giorgos Giakoumakis as Greek responds to online quip

Joe Hart couldn't resist a cheeky 'offside' quip at Giorgos Giakoumakis as he celebrated his first goal in the MLS.

The former Celtic striker - who made the move to Atlanta United during the winter transfer window - was handed his first start against Portland after two substitute appearances in the previous outings. He never disappointed the home crowd or his boss as he repaid his faith in chucking him in with a brilliant headed finish.

The Greece international took to social media to roar that it is the first of many in the black and red as he hailed the result as a great win. He wrote: "First start, first goal and a great win for the team! Much more to come!"

His response earned a one word response from Hoops No1 Hart who simply said: "Offside" with the smiley face with tongue sticking out emoji.

But the big Greek was having none of it as he fired a cheeky warning to his Parkhead pal. He replied: "Keep going like that and you will make me upload here that finishing!"

The five-star showing keeps Atlanta unbeaten in the start of the new MLS season with three wins and one draw from four outings.

Next up is a trip to face Columbus before a home clash with New York Red Bulls and a trip to the Big Apple to face New York City FC.
