Celtic legend John Hartson spotted at local service station by Glasgow delivery driver

Cetlic legend and Sky Sports pundit, John Hartson, was spotted earlier today at a local service station as he posed with an excited Glasgow delivery driver.

The sporting star was seen smiling with the worker who was out delivering mils with McQueen's Dairies during a quick pit stop. McQueens Dairies shared the news on Facebook: "Our drivers see many sights while out delivering milk but very rarely do they spot a celebrity.

"During a quick service station stop, they met the renowned football legend & sports pundit, John Hartson."

The former Welsh striker has enjoyed a stay in the city after a night at the Hydro to see comedian Micky Flanagan, with John taking to Twitter to share his post show buzz: "Just back from Micky Flanagan...Hydro Glasgow outstanding show. You can relate to a lot that he says...well worth the entrance fee."

As a player John Hartson was best known for his time at Celtic, where he led the Hoops to three Scottish Premier League titles.

After retiring in 2008, he was diagnosed with testicular cancer which had spread to his brain and lungs but after extensive treatment he was given the all clear in 2013.

The Celtic legend has now gained a career in the media and is a popular sports pundit for Sky Sports, Premier Sports TV and BT Sport.
