Celtic legend John Hartson sends best wishes to Belfast teen after big move

Celtic legend John Hartson has sent his best wishes to Francis Turley after the North Belfast teen signed for the Hoops.

Turley realised a dream when he signed a three-year professional contract with the Scottish champions earlier this month.

The 16-year-old was on the radar of a number of clubs across the water, his burgeoning talent earning plenty of attention during the summer.

But now former Glentoran academy starlet Turley is embarking on the next stage of his career with Celtic.

Former striker Hartson is a fan of the talented teen, and has sent his best wishes to Turley following the move.

Hartson tweeted: "Good luck young man on joining Celtic .. Francis Turley.. the world is your Oyster."

Turley will go straight into Celtic's Under 18 squad for the upcoming season. Time will tell if he can follow in the footsteps of Hartson and play first-team football for the Hoops.
