Celtic have been linked with a move for Barcelona attacker Alex Collado - just under two years after a pursuit from Neil Lennon.
The former Hoops boss was linked with the Spaniard during the quest for 10 Premiership titles in succession in term 2020/21, when reports claimed those at Parkhead wanted him after not being selected as a player to jump from 'B' team football up to the first-team. Nothing materialised then but new claims suggest Celtic, along with Greek giants Olympiacos and two unnamed La Liga teams are after him, according to Spanish journalist Albert Roge.
It is understood that Collado's preference is to move somewhere with guaranteed European football and that could be a huge boost for any green and white attempts to sign him, as Champions League group stage action is already secured with last season's title win. The 23-year-old can play on the wings or in attacking midfield roles.

Boss Ange Postecoglou's flanks are already busy, with s Jota, Liel Abada, Daizen Maeda, Mikey Johnston and James Forrest all options.
Attacking midfield isn't quite either as David Turnbull and Matt O'Riley have both made strong starts to this season's domestic campaign.
After opening wins over Aberdeen and Ross County, Celtic will travel to Kilmarnock on Sunday as they look to make it three wins from three.
