Celtic hit with UEFA fine for fans RB Leipzig pyro show as Bundesliga side also suffer hierarchy wrath

Celtic have been hit with another fine by UEFA for their fans conduct in their Champions League match away at RB Leipzig.

The Hoops have already been fined by European football's hierarchy this season for an anti-monarchy banner in their first Group F trip against Shakhtar Donetsk. Celtic have now been handed a fine of €19,500 for the lighting of fireworks in the away end at Red Bull Arena and another €12,750 for the throwing of objects has been given to Leipzig.

It's all but over in the Champions League for Ange Postecoglou 's side after losing three of their first four matches in the group, now fighting an uphill battle to remain in Europe beyond Christmas via Europa League contention after falling short of last 16 qualification. Their last games in the section are a home test against Ukrainian heavyweights Shakhtar Donetsk and cup holders Real Madrid at the Bernabeu.
