Barry Bannan believes Tom Rogic is 'wasted' in the English Championship.
The former Celtic fans' favourite departed the Scottish champions in the summer after a trophy-laden stay in Glasgow, with the Aussie midfielder leaving his mark with many memorable strikes along the way. He grabbed another one of those as he got off the mark for new club West Brom as he sparked a comeback win over Sunderland.
The ex-Hoops midfielder produced a stunning low finish to level the scoring before his side went on to grab a late winner and a vital three points against Tony Mowbray's side. Former Rangers loanee Amad Diallo was also on the scoresheet for the Black Cats. But it was Rogic's performance that grabbed the attention of Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Bannan, who lauded the ability and technique on show from the Australia international. Tweeting out he said: "Tom Rogic lovely player to watch wasted in the Champ."

Former Celtic and Motherwell striker Tony Watt - now on the books at Dundee United - agreed with the assessment replying: "He absolutely strolled that there Baz."
Bannan responded: "Some player 2nd gear don’t know how he is there."
Speaking about Rogic, boss Carlos Corberan said: "I think the performance of Rogic, maybe in the last two games before the break, and during the period of training, has been excellent.
"His performances have been excellent, and after training and working hard he can perform better in the football pitch."
