The Scottish League Cup was the one domestic trophy that alluded Celtic last season - and they are desperate to regain the honour from Rangers at Hampden Park today.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has been delighted by his teams display's both domestically and in Europe this season and hopes they can continue that against their fierce Glasgow rivals, who they defeated 3-0 when they last met back in September.
The Northern Irishman has also tested success in every cup final occasion he has been involved in across his two spells as Celtic boss.
Speaking to BBC Scotland, he said: "It's something that we haven't got in our cabinet and we've done lots of really good things this past season, but the one thing we don't have is the League Cup. So, we have to go and win it.

"We've been in really, really good form throughout the season, the team have been consistently at a really good level.
"It's a great game, they are great occasions these, and you always prepare for a tough game, which is what we have done.
"All you can control is your own performance. We always anticipate a tough game, especially a Celtic v Rangers game. It's always about having that calmness to play the level of game that we want to play. That opportunity is there for us. The starting point for us is always we have to work our socks off without the ball, press the game really hard, hard running and then when we have the ball show our quality, show the speed in our play and see where it takes us."
Rangers are much-improved over the past month or so and come into this showdown on the back of an impressive Europa League draw against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Rodgers acknowledges that Rangers' mood will have lifted but is confident in his own teams ability to get the job done at the national stadium.
"There's no doubt they'll feel in a better mood, Rangers, coming into this game after the performance in midweek," he admitted. "We always respect the opponent and none more so than Rangers but really concentrate on our own performance level.
"They'll be changes needed within the game with obviously lots of games at the moment. The freshness of the team is important. At some point, we'll freshen it up but that's the team that we'll start with. It certainly won't be the team that finishes the game."
