Celtic fans attending this weekend's Premiership match against Motherwell have been urged to take part in a minute's applause on the 44th minute.
It's in memory of late Alan Patterson, a massive Celtic fan and football coach who passed at just 44, leaving behind wife Julie and two sons Kian, 6, and Aiden, 10. Thousands have been raised through a crowdfunder launched last week for Paterson's family after the tragic news.
He was co-manager of West of Scotland Football League side East Kilbride Thistle last season and was well-loved in his local community through his job as a postal worker and roles in football over the years. Now the Celtic Park family are being called upon to remember Paterson for a touching moment before half-time as Ange Postecoglou's side return to domestic duties following this month's international break. Close friend Jackie Dolan hopes it is something that can be sorted.

She said: "This is a hard one, like everyone, we heard the sad news that our pal had sadly passed away. Young man with a young family, heart of gold and never missed any of us for a chat or a slagging!
"Seriously though, you are going to be sorely missed Alan Paterson. We all loved your company and you. Being your friend, Our days and nights out, football times, phone calls. Banter and windups. Everyone who knows you has amazing memories.
"We have many, our pal and postie. Our thoughts, prayers and love go out to Julie, Aiden, Kian and the rest of Alan’s family and friends.
"It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later. ‘A life that touches others goes on forever’. May you rest in peace pal."
