Celtic fans lapped up the atmosphere on flag day with a full stadium tifo before the league opener against Aberdeen.
The Scottish champions unfurled the title flag before kick-off against Jim Goodwin 's revamped side to open the Scottish Premiership campaign, with Ange Postecoglou to continue their unbeaten run from the previous campaign against the Dons after going 32 fixtures without a league defeat. The Australian reclaimed the league title from Rangers last season as well as lifting the Premier Sports Cup, and has the Champions League group stage in the back of his mind going into the campaign.
Captain Callum McGregor took centre stage and brought the trophy out in front of a capacity Celtic Park before fans unfurled their own banners. However, the fans joined in with the celebrations with the while of the stadium covered in green and white to welcome their players into the new campaign.
There were spectacular scenes as fans unveiled a club crest as well as a Premiership trophy of their own before kick-off, with the stands covered in green and white. A green and white saltire also appeared in the stands.
