Celtic supporter group The Green Brigade have raised an outstanding £59,585, for local causes.
The vocal section of the Hoops support at Parkhead run their annual Food Drive's annually and rely solely on fans attending their selected match and generous punters online for donations. Alongside a video that highlights many people in Scotland live in poverty, it was announced just shy of £60k of had been raised. The Green Brigade raised that amount via their GoFundMe page while a food bank collection was held at Saturday's match against Dundee United.
Seven vans of food were collected as part of their tenth such collection and everything raised will be divided across the nation to various food banks in Scotland ahead of what will be a particularly difficult Christmas period amid the cost of living crisis currently ongoing. It is the most recent charitable donation coming from the Celtic camp in recent weeks.

The Celtic FC Foundation also recently launched their Christmas Appeal with big donations expected for their cause.
Their charity wing has also announced that £400,000 of their funds are helping people in fuel poverty this winter, potentially of benefit to as many as 18,000 people.
Two more games wait for Ange Postecoglou and his players before the World Cup break arrives, firsy away at Motherwell and then Ross County at Parkhead.
