A group of Celtic fans are organising a minute of applause for Patrick Packer after the Hoops fan's sad passing.
He unexpectedly passed away recently and leaves behind a young son, with tributes pouring in over the last week in his memory. His loved ones announced his death on Wednesday and fans of Celtic are planning a minute's applause when Ange Postecoglou's side meet Hearts in their latest Premiership match at Parkhead this Sunday.
Celtic fan account, ChatHoops, posted: "Trying to organise a minutes applause in the 7th minute of Sunday's game for Patrick Parker. Please RT far and wide to give him and his family the best possible send off. His dad and son will be in attendance and I'm sure it'd mean the world to them." The post has since gathered over 600 retweets and shares on top of a number of well wishes to the Packer family.

One supporter said: "Just awful. condolences to all the family. God bless Patrick, may you fly high with the angels."
A Hearts fan added: "Such a terrible loss, thoughts and prayers go out to Patrick’s family. I’ll be clapping. From a Jambo."
Postecoglou's side have started the season with three consecutive victories over Aberdeen, Ross County and Kilmarnock, with Sunday their second home match.
