Celtic face another injury concern after Auston Trusty missed training before the Champions League play-off second leg against LASK, according to a new report.

Martin O’Neill is already without Alistair Johnston, expected to miss up to six weeks with a hamstring problem.

Trusty, 28, played the full first leg against LASK and every minute of Celtic’s two Premiership matches. He started the Premier Sports Cup win over Dundee United, scoring the opener before being replaced after 67 minutes.

Celtic travel to Austria for the match, with Liam Scales and Dane Murray possible replacements. The club has not confirmed why Trusty missed Monday morning’s training session at Celtic Park, per the Scottish Sun.

The report also states that the club is considering full-back recruitment. Southampton’s Japan international Yuki Sugawara is thought to be available, while Niko Sigur of Hajduk Split has again been linked with Parkhead.

The Scottish champions are also working on a season-long loan deal for Chelsea left-back Emenalo, who is expected to provide cover for Kieran Tierney.
