A review of matchday operations is being undertaken by Celtic after the derby day fireworks - leading to the closure of the Parkhead standing section.
Record Sport revealed that the Celtic Park chiefs have been under pressure from Glasgow City council chiefs and Police in the wake of the pyro show during the win against Rangers.
The corner section, which houses the Green Brigade fan group, will now be closed for the Scottish Cup clash with Raith Rovers.
Fans who are impacted by the changes have been offered tickets for other parts of the ground in a letter from the club.
In the message to supporters, Celtic noted their hopes of opening the area in the near future.
It read: "As a result of safety issues arising at our last home match, including widespread use of pyrotechnics, it has been deemed necessary to review the current matchday operations in the front part of the rail seating section.
"Consequently, this section will be closed for the match versus Raith Rovers while the club reviews these issues."
"It is our aim to reopen this section as soon as possible.
"While we understand this temporary measure may cause some inconvenience we trust you will all understand the reasons behind this decision."
Celtic Support Liaison Office John Paul Taylor also fielded question on social media regarding the changes.
He replied on Twitter to one fan: "(I) think those impacted have been contacted but essentially losing front half of rail seat section on Sun(day) whilst some safety concerns are being worked on.”
