Sir Rod Stewart has announced he is set to return to the stage after falling ill this week forcing him to cancel an appearance.
The rockstar was set to perform at Mt Duneed Estate, Geelong in Australia alongside Cyndi Lauper and Jon Stevens when the show was cancelled just hours before it was due to begin.
Confirming he had a viral infection and was unable to sing, he added that he was "only human and sometimes get sick just like you do."
But it appears the Maggie May singer is in better health again with him taking to his Instagram stories this morning giving a much-welcomed update.

Sitting on a couch in Celtic FC gear sporting a Celtic necklace, he said: "My dear friends in Adelaide, just a guarantee that the show will be going ahead.
"I had a slight set back here in Melbourne at the Missus show because I had strep throat. But I'm fine now and I'll be there and I'm looking forward to it."
The good news comes shortly after the 78-year-old Celtic mad singer took to the Rod Laver Arena stage in Melbourne, Australia last week for a sell-out gig - and during his performance of You're In My Heart, the Hoops boss appeared behind him smiling from ear to ear celebrating one of his teams latest victories.
Showing his love for the team and Ange Postecoglou, the manager appeared on the big screen holding the winning Viaplay Cup silverware after Celtic beat Rangers 2-1.
Postecoglou moved to Melbourne when he was five-years-old from his Greek homeland and went on to play for and manage South Melbourne.
