People tuned into Morton v Inverness for top of the table action and stayed for the Efe Ambrose show as the Celtic cult hero made his return to Scottish football on Friday night.
The defender is one of the game in this nation's brightest characters, with his performances ranging from brilliant to eccentric, while his celebration is a trademark backflip. He won every major trophy going while at Celtic Park and has also turned out for Hibs, Livingston and Dunfermline Athletic.
He has signed with Championship side Morton and turned in a Man of the Match performance as they beat Inverness 4-0. It was a typically action-packed evening for Ambrose, with the Nigerian winning a penalty and providing a goal-saving block. There were then claims he was actually carrying a suspension from his days at Dunfermline and the Ton had to step in and allay social media rumours around the former Nigeria international.

Home fans sang his name the entire match and went as far as chanting 'Efe Ambrose Ballon d'Or' whenever he got near the ball.
The delighted defender hardly knew his new peers he was on the pitch with and told BBC Scotland, where the match was televised: "That was my first-time playing with him (Jack Baird, Morton central defender).
"We have never played together so it was amazing. Anywhere I go I just to enjoy my football and help the team to get the result."
