Celtic are "considering" a move for Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.
The 33-year-old England international could be available if Wolves complete deals for Sporting CP goalkeeper Joao Virginia and free agent John Ruddy.
The Daily Mail reports that Celtic are assessing Johnstone’s situation as Wolves plan changes to their goalkeeping options. Wolves are expected to pay about £1.3million for Virginia, while a return for former England goalkeeper Ruddy is also being considered.
Those moves could allow Johnstone to leave Molineux. He has two years left on the four-year contract he signed after joining Wolves in 2024.

Johnstone returned from a shoulder injury earlier this summer, but his route to regular football has become less clear. He is behind Jose Sa in the pecking order following Dan Bentley’s move to Coventry City. Sa had also been linked with leaving Wolves, although he appears likely to stay.
Johnstone has won four England caps and has Premier League experience with West Brom, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace and Manchester United.
He made 17 appearances for Wolves last season, conceding 30 goals and keeping two clean sheets. A move could help him to become a first-choice goalkeeper again.
