Celtic have confirmed the signing of Haissem Hassan from Real Oviedo.
The Egyptian international joins from the relegated La Liga side, after impressing for his country at the World Cup earlier this summer, signing a four-year deal.
The 24-year-old becomes Martin O'Neill's third signing of the summer transfer window, following the earlier arrivals of Camilo Duran and Kasper Hogh from Qarabag and Bodo/Glimt, respectively.
Celtic manager Martin O’Neill said: “We are delighted to bring Haissem to Celtic and I think the club has done really well to secure a player of such quality, with a number of other clubs interested in him.
