Callum McGregor has been crowned William Hill Premiership Player of the Month for August.
The Celtic captain began the 2024/25 campaign in strong form and was pivotal to the Hoops winning all four of their league matches so far.
He also contributed with three goals, a solid return for a centre-midfielder.
McGregor, 31, announced that he was retiring from international duty over the summer, with his sole focus on continuing Celtic's domestic dominance and improving the club's stature in the Champions League.

Celtic, currently leading the league on goal difference ahead of Aberdeen, will be back in action as they take on Heart of Midlothian at Parkhead this Saturday afternoon.
McGregor will be hoping to carry on his early season form into September, with Celtic having the opportunity to further extend their points difference between Rangers, before their city rivals are in action against Dundee United on Sunday lunchtime.
During his latest press conference Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers reacted to the news of McGregor winning the accolade for the first time.
“I am surprised by that,” he commented. “What I love about Callum and it is also what this club brings you. Being at Celtic is all about a culture of winning and to be a winner there is a process involved in that.
“That process is training and when you are in the programme for long enough what you will be is a player who is super fit, intense and consistent and that's Callum McGregor.
“That all comes from being a Celtic player. You need the intensity to be here, you need the focus, and you get that fitness.
“The other Celtic boys here; the likes of Tony Ralston, Stephen Welsh, James Forrest - that's what they bring.
“Callum as the captain really typifies what being a Celtic player is.
“Performing consistently at the level that I know these guys have been at from when I was up here the first time then it is a surprise that this is Callum's first Player of the Month award and that fact is correct.”
