Former PSV and Ajax boss Aad De Mos has branded Celtic "childish" and compared the club to Rangers ahead of the Champions League group stage.
The former manager reckons Eredivisie side Feyenoord will cruise to victories over the Parkhead club even under "cunning coach" Brendan Rodgers.
Celtic have been drawn in Group E of the Champions League alongside Feyenoord, Atletico Madrid and Lazio.
But De Mos has already deemed Celtic to be rank outsiders in the group as he backed Feyernoord to claim one of the top spots and beat Celtic home and away.
The pundit said: "Feyenoord can stunt against anyone. In all home games they are capable of winning. Celtic will play childish, attacking.
"Although they do have a cunning coach in Brendan Rodgers. But it falls into the Rangers category. Feyenoord should win twice from that. Simeone and Sarri are scared of De Kuip; they will have the thought of not losing there. They will lurk on the counter and try to win a game via a sleight of hand.
"Feyenoord will eliminate Lazio or Atletico and take second place. They will cash in on the experience of the Europa and Conference League. I think they are going to be surprisingly good in the Champions League. I expect the most from Feyenoord in Europe, then PSV, AZ and the least from Ajax."
On his ambition in Europe and new squad members tasting their first experience of Celtic Park on a Champions League night, Rodgers told Celtic TV: “They won’t have experienced anything like it, that’s for sure.
“The guys that were involved last year, fantastic. They’ll want to do better this year. For the new guys coming in the home games at Celtic Park will be incredible.
“We want to be really competitive and get some positive results in the competition. Our overall aim is to be in Europe after Christmas."
