The first Old Firm derby of the season has been moved forward to a Saturday lunch time and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports. Celtic will host Rangers at Parkhead on September 3 in a 12.30pm kick off with both sides looking to land an early blow in the title fight.
The match was originally scheduled to kick off at 3pm but has been brought forward as one of five TV selections by the broadcaster in the opening six weeks of the campaign. The Edinburgh derby on match day two has been moved back a day and will be televised live from Easter Road with a 12noon kick off on Sunday, August 7.
That one sees new Hibs boss Lee Johnson go up against his former Hearts team mate Robbie Neilson. A week later Celtic’s trip to Kilmarnock will be shown again with a noon kick off at Rugby Park.
It’s back to Easter Road for Hibs against Rangers on Saturday, August 20, at 12.30pm.
Then Celtic head to Tannadice to take on Dundee United on Sunday, August 28, with a noon kick off.
