Celebs have paid tribute to Scots teenager Lily Douglas after she sadly passed away last night.
Lily's mum took to Facebook to announce the sad news she had died at home surrounded by her family.
The 14-year-old had befriended various celebrities over the last few years but particularly Strictly Come Dancing judge Dame Arlene Phillips.
Arlene had become a good friend of the family over the years and she paid tribute to Lily online.
Following the devastating news, she wrote on Instagram: "No words can express the way I feel tonight only love and loss that Lily Douglas passed away in the arms of her beautiful mummy Jane.
"My heart goes out to Jane and Lily’s brother Leon and to her family and all those that loved her.
"I was lucky to be one of those that knew her and I treasure the times I spent with her and will hold her beautiful smile in my heart.
"Bless you darling Lily. You will be so missed."
When Arlene appeared on I'm a Celeb at the end of last year, she mentioned Lily to Ant and Dec and said that she gave her courage to take part in the Bush Tucker trials.
Arlene, 78, said: "One of the bravest, most fearless girls is a little girl I know called Lily Douglas, she's so fearless.
"I thought, here I am afraid of so many things. What better way can you push yourself than to do something like this?"
Meanwhile, Alesha Dixon shared a pictured a picture of Lily on her Instagram story with the message: "Beautiful Lily. Rest in eternal peace angel."
Pop star and talent show judge Dixon and her Scots manager Malcolm Blair invited Lily and her mum Jane to spend a weekend with them in London at filming for The Greatest Dancer back in 2020.
She was delighted to meet “Aunty Alesha and Uncle Malcolm”, as Lily described them, and also hit it off with TV’s Mr Nasty, Simon Cowell.
He made a beeline for her when he arrived at his office and, to everyone’s amazement, even agreed to dance for her – the first time any of his staff had ever seen him dance.
Another celebrity Lily grew close to was Scots singer Lewis Capaldi. Lewis gave Lily 'the best day of her life' when he invited her on stage when he performed at TRNSMT in 2019.
The Someone You Loved singer sent a video message to Lily at an awards ceremony before striking up a friendship over Instagram.
He invited her and pal Yasmin Chan to come meet him in the artist village backstage - where he surprised her with the chance of a lifetime to hang outside stage.
The pair also wowed online followers when they took part in a popular TikTok challenge together.
Lily's mum Jane announced her daughters tragic passing on her Instagram account to update her followers as streams of tributes came in for the teenager.
Scottish Love Island winner Paige Turley wrote: "I am so so sorry. Lily was such a beautiful soul. Sending lots of love to you guys at this time."
Scots Love Island contestant Shannon Singh commented: "Sending you all so much love"
Molly Mae penned a heartfelt response: "My heart has broken. Fly high beautiful Lily, what a truly special girl you were"

Meanwhile, Deputy First Minister John Swinney led the tributes from the Scottish Government.

"A light in all of our lives."
The 14-year-old's heartbroken mum Jane shared the devastating news that she had passed away in a social media post on Sunday evening.
Lily, from Perth, bravely battled Ewing Sarcoma - a rare type of cancer that affects bones or the tissue around bones - since 2017.
She arrived at Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary last week to begin a potential breakthrough drug trial, but before doctors could get started, she suffered a brain bleed.
Medics told Jane if she would last the night and if she did survive, they 'didn't know what damage would be done'.
Brave Lily managed to open her eyes on Sunday and was able to chat to her mum, eat something and even check her phone for messages.
But last night Jane confirmed the youngster had 'danced her way to heaven' after passing away at 7.17pm.
In a statement issued on Facebook, Jane wrote: "Her heart failed but she was on the sofa at home, cuddled into me where she wanted to be.
"She will leave a massive hole in my heart. If love could have saved her she would have lived to a million years old.
"She is at peace and is finally in no more pain.
"Even with cancer, Lily lived her best life and was loved by everyone. I hope I made her proud.
"I was her mum, we were a great team. "Please keep Leon in your prayers, he will need lots of love and support.
"It's not goodbye, she will be waiting on me. It's only time that will keep us apart.
"She looks so beautiful and peaceful and even died with her beautiful, blonde hair.
"Thank you all for your love and support. I could not have done this without you all."
