- He made the announcement on Tuesday, 3 March, stating it was "time to let someone else have a go" after almost 10 years.
- Osman is reducing his television commitments to focus on his successful Thursday Murder Club novels, having also left Pointless in 2022.
- The show will continue with a new host, with some already have theories as to who’ll be replacing him.
- Among the names suggested are Sally Phillips, Nick Mohammed, Angela Barnes, Stephen Mangan, Sue Perkins, and Rick Edwards.
