Emma Stone has left people in absolutely no doubt she’s a massive Taylor Swift fan after footage emerged of her going nuts at the opening weekend of her pal’s new Eras Tour.
Sneakily recorded by a fellow concert goer during the song “You Belong With Me” in Glendale, Arizona, the 34-year-old can be seen singing and dancing in a small VIP section of the stadium.
Taylor Swift’s much anticipated tour kicked off this week with a three-hour show featuring 44 songs and 11 costume changes.
The singer’s first tour in five years has already received rave reviews and been packed with jaw-dropping special effects.
Stone, who has been friends with Swift since 2009, looked like she was definitely enjoying the show, jumping up and down and singing along to every word of the song.
Wearing a black vest top with her distinctive red hair up in top knot, the mum-of-one was joined by Alana Haim, one third of band Haim.
Taylor’s fans, known as Swifties, were quick to express their delight at the unexpected showcase of friendship.
Writing under the TikTok clip, one viewer wrote: “Love Emma stone and now I do even more.”
“Near to emma at a Taylor’s concert? God definitely has favorites,” joked a second person.
Another fan added under the video: “emma stone is one of us”
“haha you can literally hear her!” laughed a fourth watcher.
“no thoughts just emma stone performing to taylor swift,” one user enthused on Twitter.
Kicking off the tour this weekend, Taylor, 33, told the 70,000 strong crowd: “I don’t know how to process this...
“How I feel about how much I missed you, how happy I am to see you.
“You don’t know what it means to me to be able to say to you, ‘Welcome to The Eras Tour’.”
During the show she also addressed the controversy around re-recording six albums after a music exec Scooter Braun bought the rights to her back catalogue.
She said: “The Red album is so precious to me. You embraced it in 2012... I never could have imagined what you did a decade later, when I wanted to claim that album as my own.
“You just don’t know how much that means to me.”
