Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark has claimed that he's 'always on edge' filming for Celebrity Gogglebox with his outspoken mum, Linda, as he can never guess what she's going to say. 33-year-old Rylan, who found fame after appearing on The X Factor in 2012, has confessed that although his Celebrity Gogglebox role is 'the easiest job in the world', filming with his mum makes him nervous.
Speaking to The Sun, the This Morning presenter said: "I can literally sit there and do f*** all and she just does it, which is great. She has no idea she’s even doing it.
"That is what makes it work with her, that is why people love her. I am always there thinking ‘what the f*** is going to come out of her mouth?"

The mother-and-son duo took a break from the Channel 4 show due to Linda suffering with Crohn's disease. After taking some time away, the pair have returned to our screens to make us laugh with their funny quips as they watch the week's television.
In a recent Instagram update, Rylan shared a photo of the cameras in his plush Essex home, telling followers that he loves being part of Celebrity Gogglebox so much that he forgets he is even being filmed. The former Big Brother star tends to keep his family out of the spotlight, but has said that mum Linda 'feels comfortable' whenever they film for the show in his kitchen, and has thanked the production team for always being patient whenever the pair have dealt with personal issues.
Celebrity Gogglebox fans were very excited when Linda and Rylan returned to our screens last week on June 10 for the new series of the Channel 4 show. The duo have been one of the most popular pairings to feature on the show and, despite taking some time off, the love fans have for them certainly has not gone away.
Rylan has previously opened up about his close relationship with his mum. Despite their closeness and the pair usually not keeping secrets from each other, Rylan has admitted that he did keep his sexuality hidden from his mum for some time.
In a 2019 Sunday Times column, the star penned: "My mum, Linda, is my biggest f****** headache, but I don’t know what I'd do without her. I didn’t always like opening up to her about things. Not because she wouldn’t hear it — that was my struggle. She’s not the best at advice, but you can tell her anything.
"I’ve never spoken to her about my relationships and sexuality, but she wouldn’t have a problem with it. On Gogglebox, she was very happy to talk about someone’s willy while I was dying inside."
