Celebrity Gogglebox's Lorraine Kelly shows support to Deborah James on show

TV presenter Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie are going to make a sweet show of support for Deborah James on tonight's episode of Celebrity Gogglebox.

The 62-year-old Scottish TV host has often featured Deborah on her ITV daytime show to in order to raise awareness of bowel cancer signs and symptoms.

And sharing a touching display of friendship, Lorraine's daughter Rosie sported one of Deborah's Rebellious Hope T-shirts as she filmed an episode of the Channel 4 programme with her mother, reports the Mirror.

The cancer campaigners T-shirt sales have managed to raise over £1million for the BowelBabe fund which she established since being diagnosed in 2016.

Rosie shared a preview of tonight's Googlebox on her Instagram adding: "Can you guess what we’re watching on @c4gogglebox Luckily Ruby was fast asleep for this one - you can watch tonight at 9 pm on @channel4."

Deborah has worked tirelessly to raise awareness of bowel cancer and is now sadly receiving end of life care at her parents' home.

The mother-of-two recently shared how much the campaign with fashion brand In The Style meant to her as for her the message of 'Rebellious Hope' "keeps her going".

She said: "Rebellious Hope’ is what has got me through the last few years and it’s what is keeping me going now!" she said.

"Seeing all your messages, tags and support has just been the best and I am so grateful that we have been able to do this together!"

Sharing her latest update to Instagram Deborah was pictured sipping a refreshing drink with Heather, 64.

Her mum, known as Bowelgran, posted a snap to Instagram with the caption: "A lovely relaxing lunch in the sunshine."

Deborah, a former deputy headteacher, has kept her Instagram followers, who number more than 900,000, up to date with her treatments and end of life care.

Last month, she was also honoured with a Damehood by the Duke of Cambridge at her home for her “tireless campaigning” efforts.

Celebrity Gogglebox airs Friday at 9pm on Channel 4.
