A huge food and drink festival celebrating Italian cuisine with a roll call of celebrity chefs is returning to Cathedral Gardens for the August Bank Holiday weekend. It’ll be the fifth Festa Italiana, which is organised by Salvi’s, the family-run restaurant with sites in the Northern Quarter, Corn Exchange and more recently Deansgate Square.
The festival returned last year after a pandemic-related hiatus, and saw more than 38,000 people attend over the long weekend. This year’s event will happen from August 26 to 28 at the Festival Piazza.
