The latest instalment of The Great Celebrity Bake Off will officially return to Channel 4 with a raft of new celebrities to enter the tent in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.
A star-studded line-up will be on screen this spring with a five episode run to see who is crowned Star Baker and awarded the sought-after Star Baker apron.
The celebrities are joined by judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood as well as hosts Matt Lucas and Noel Fielding.
The line-up will include singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding, Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore and Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah among the famous faces signed up to compete.
Other stars taking switching on their mixers include presenter and dancer Motsi Mabuse, The Inbetweeners actor Blake Harrison, comedian Ed Gamble and broadcaster Clara Amfo.
They will be joined by comedian and Taskmaster creator Alex Horne, Irish DJ Annie Mac, Death in Paradise actor Ben Miller, TV presenter Emma Willis and singer-songwriter Example.
The line-up continues with Coronation Street actress Katherine Kelly, TV presenter Ruby Wax and EastEnders actress Tracy-Ann Oberman.
The line-up is rounded out with Choir choirmaster Gareth Malone, actor Mawaan Rizwan, TV presenter Sophie Morgan and social media star Yung Filly.
In a surprise twist, one episode will see host Matt Lucas forced to hop over the workbench and swap Bake Off side to fill in for a missing backer.
Matt will find out what it’s really like to bake under the scrutiny of his fellow presenter Noel.
He said: “I was forced to bake by my bosses at the last minute when one of the bakers became unavailable.
“I can’t tell you how happy I was that my humiliation was caught on camera.”
Each celebrity baker will compete in three rounds – the signature, technical and showstopper challenges, all hoping to impress Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith with their brilliant bakes and culinary creations.
In each of the five episodes, four famous bakers will go head to head to see who will be decorated with the title Star Baker at the end of the competition.
Stand Up To Cancer is a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4 to accelerate ground-breaking cancer research and save more lives, more quickly, with February 4 marking World Cancer Day and 20 years since Cancer Research UK was formed.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer airs later this spring.
