Celebrations tubs will have a big difference most people will love ahead of Christmas

Reaching into a tub of Celebrations and discovering there are only Bounty bars left comes as a disappointment for many. This could now be a thing of the past as Mars Wrigley launches a trial to remove the coconut-flavoured treats from its tubs.

At selected Tesco Christmas Market sites customers will be able to swap tubs bought in store that day for a Bounty-free alternative, until December 18. It comes as 39 percent of consumers said they wanted Bounty bars to be axed for good.

Those with a ‘No Bounty’ box will not be short changed, however, as the limited edition tubs will include additional Mars, Snickers, Milky Way, Galaxy and Maltesers sweets - perfect for fans who prefer these flavours. Mars Wrigley quizzed 2,000 Britons aged between 18 and 65 and found that 18 percent would be annoyed if only Bounty bars were left in the tub.
