Students across Liverpool were celebrating this morning after receiving their exam results.
Young people throughout the city have been finding out where they’ll be taking their next steps in their academic and technical careers after learning how they did in the first set of exams taken since the pandemic began. At Belvedere Academy, staff expressed their pride as more than 85% of their students received grades between A* and C or at Merit and above in BTEC.
Principal Julie Taylor said: "It is wonderful to see so many excited young people about to embark on their next steps - and their steps couldn't be more exciting with pupils going all over the UK and the world to study and to work. Our staff are delighted - they and the pupils have worked so hard, well done to all of them - they deserve today; and thank you to our pupils' families for all their support."
