'Celebrate safely': police to flood streets for Knights grand final weekend

Police will be out in force this weekend to ensure the safety of fans as they come together to celebrate the NRL grand final on Sunday.

The high-visibility operation will focus on key locations across Newcastle, including the McDonald Jones Stadium live site, the CBD, entertainment precincts and licensed premises in the city.
