The world’s greatest steeplechase is back this month with the 2023 edition of the Grand National being run at Aintree on Saturday, April 15. The 4 miles and 2½ furlongs chase is the highlight of the jump racing calendar with recent Cheltenham Festival winner Corach Rambler (6/1) the bookmakers' favourite ahead of last year’s winner Noble Yeats (8/1).
But there is plenty more high-class racing on offer over the three-day event with new fans’ favourite and star of Cheltenham, Constitution Hill, going in the Grade One Aintree Hurdle on day one. The Nicky Henderson star won the Champion Hurdle by nine lengths last month and is rated at 1/4 to win the race which takes place on Thursday. The main rivals for this one will be Epatante (8/1) and Zanahyir (10/1), both of whom can be expected to put up a credible challenge despite underwhelming Cheltenham performances.
