Popular fast-food chain Dave’s Hot Chicken will be handing out free food to super fans soon.
The US food chain – backed by Hollywood celebs including Drake, Usher and Samuel L Jackson – will be dishing out the free sliders to give Brits the first ever taste of their goods before the first UK shop opens in December.
The eatery will give out the Nashville-style burgers from a secret pop-up in an east London car-park on Wednesday, November 20.
They say they picked the odd spot because they were founded in an East Hollywood car park in 2017 before their success – which now sees them have 200 locations worldwide.
The chain offers fiery chicken, with some dishes so hot they require a signed waiver.
Arman Oganesyan, of Dave’s Hot Chicken, said: “We started in a parking lot, so we’re excited to kick off our exciting London adventure with that same energy. We can’t wait to greet Londoners and visitors alike and give them the full Dave’s experience… on us!
“All we can say is be prepared to get your hands on some of the hottest, most succulent chicken you’ve ever had."
The car park – which will be based opposite 5A Club Row, E1 6JX in Shoreditch – will be open to the public from 5pm, but it is expected to be super busy so people are encouraged to get there “as early as possible” to try and guarantee themselves a free Dave’s slider.
They said: “Once they’re gone, they’re gone.”
Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening its first UK location this December in Shaftesbury Avenue, with 60 more stores planned nationwide in the near future.
