Cedric Itten was celebrating title success this weekend with BSC Young Boys.
The former Rangers striker has been a key player for his new club in what has been an incredible 12 month turnaround for the Swiss hitman. He fired his 18th Super League goal of the season to make it 22 goals in all competitions as he side crushed Luzern 5-1 to be confirmed champions for the 16th time. He's also chipped in with 12 assists in what has proved a memorable campaign for the 26-year-old.
It was less than a year ago that the Light Blues decided to part ways with the Switzerland international. In 49 appearances he scored nine goals in Glasgow and was part of helping Steven Gerrard' s side land title No 55. However, the club and striker parted ways with his current employers paying an undisclosed fee for his services.

It's a fifth title triumph in the last six seasons with a sold out 31,500 capacity at the Wankdorf stadium watching on as their heroes tasted glory. A double remains possible with a cup final meeting against FC Lugano to come on June 4.
The club released a real insight into the celebrations with the champagne at the ready as the players partied on the pitch. Plenty of chanting and dancing took place while they also took in time to huddle up and show their appreciation for their support.
On his departure last June, Rangers announced: "Rangers can today confirm striker Cedric Itten has joined BSC Young Boys for an undisclosed fee.
"Striker Itten initially joined Rangers in the summer of 2020, and he went on to make 49 appearances for the club.
"He also scored nine goals, with a number of those being crucial in the delivery of title number 55 to Ibrox in 2020/21, not least a late strike against Motherwell in the December of that season that turned a tight match in the Light Blues’ favour.
"To date, he has been capped seven times by the Swiss national team, has scored four goals and will be aiming to join their World Cup-bound squad in November. Everyone at Ibrox wishes Cedric well for this next move in his career."
