Boxes of jewellery were stolen from a pawnbrokers by a man wielding a shovel.
Police have now released CCTV images of a man they want to speak to about the burglary which took place in Newcastle.
At around 9.30am on December 13, Northumbria Police received a report that a man with a spade concealed in a plastic bag had entered Ramsdens in Adelaide Shopping Centre in Benwell.
He jumped over the jewellery counter, entered the back office and made off with three boxes of pawned jewellery.

As part of their investigation, police have released images of a male who was in the area at the time of the offence and could have information that can assist with the investigation.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police has urged anybody who may have information in regards to the man's whereabouts to come forward to assist with their investigation.
They said: "The male, or anyone who knows him, is asked to contact police via the ‘Tell Us Something’ page of the website or by calling 101 quoting NP-20211213-0231."
