CCTV image released as police step up hunt for thieves targeting cars in Cotgrave

Police investigating the theft of catalytic converters from two cars have released a CCTV image believed to be related to the crimes. The vehicles were targeted in Cotgrave overnight on Wednesday, November 2, to Thursday, November 3.

Neighbourhood officers have since upped patrols and are asking for the public's help as they investigate the thefts. They have released this image of a Volkswagen Golf which is believed to have been involved.

Inspector Rob Lawton, Neighbourhood Policing Inspector for Rushcliffe, said: “We are patrolling more regularly in Cotgrave following these thefts and are carrying out door-to-door inquiries. If any residents have CCTV, I’d urge they check between the times of midnight and 1am on Thursday 3 November.”
